I can't figure this out. I have whiteheads constantly on my upper lip. Upper lip only, not bottom lip.
I've stopped using any shaving cream/gel in that area, switched to a toothpaste without SLS, etc. Whenever my current whiteheads go away, new ones immediately pop up. I'm confused.
I get a similar problem if I drink hot liquids (coffee/tea) from a regular cup (no lid). Breakouts occur right along the edge of my top lip--sometimes just one, often more. If i use a cup with a lid that doesn't allow the hot liquid to cover my upper lip, I can avoid the problem.
