Hi folks, I really don't like the look of my skin. In constantly looking at it, and touching it. Mainly my nose. (I have posted about that in another post though)
My skin to me looks pretty bad, enlarged pores, oily skin (not all the time) scars, marks etc etc alot of you will know exactly what I'm talking about. Plus on top of this, with having anxiety, as soon as I read anything online that is even remotely simeler to my face etc i instantly think I have it and start worrying. Over the last 2 weeks of some searching online I've worried myself that I have skin cancer, rosecea, rhinophyma the lot!!
I generally have not got any regime/routine to washing my face. Infact when I tell you what my regime (if you can call it that) is you will probably be shocked.
I wash twice a day, with dove soap and a face cloth, nothing else I've ever tryed has kept my acne at bay.
I drink quite a lot of sugary soft drinks, I eat far to much junk food and I don't take vitamins.
Now my questions, where do I start? What do I buy? I've always felt my skin on my face is very sensitive. And I feel like I break out easily.
I have included some pictures, let me know what you think of my skin.
I will add that although in the pictures my skin is relatively clear I have suffered from really bad acne, I had big cysts on my temples, and huge ones on my cheeks next to my nose. And several spots on my nose aswell as every where else.
I am currently taking lymecycline 1ce a day and duac once daily gel at night before I go to bed. I have been on these for a year. And I am scared to stop them.
Thanks.
lol thanks for the close ups of your schnoz dude, my life is now complete.
Take a chill pill, use your head, and stop believing everything you read online from random people. Although, this might just be your personality and nothing can be done. That being said, I'm a random person, but solved my acne issues and took the same meds you have so...
1. The benzoyl peroxide in the duac has caused your large pores. Well known. I have the same thing after using it for years. Although I don't have to use topicals anymore.
2. Stop eating crappy junk food. It contains just about all off the things that cause acne from gluten, presernatives, high doses of sugar, high glycemic doses of wheat...
3. Look in the adult acne forum for a post called 'how I cured my acne after 26 years' by wingedserpant. I used his methods to eliminate the use of topicals and just lead a healthy life.
