Hi there! I just started accutane at 80mg per day and just want to use this as a way to keep track of my progress and talk to other people who are taking accutane as well!
Im on my 11th day so it hasn't been too long but I can definitely tell some differences so far even though I'm still not sure if I might purge yet.
My oil is definitely decreased and my skin is starting to feel itchy and dry but not unbearable and so are my lips, but like I said, not unbearable. My scalp on the other hand has been very itchy but t-gel shampoo from neutrogena has totally neutralized this.
I feel like I have had some internal side effects but not too noticeable and am hoping most of those things just go away after some time.

(the photos are after 10 days on 80mg)

has anyone gotten brain fog? Or rib soreness?

Can already see improvement after 10 days! I had brain fog when I upped my dosage but it went away after my body got used to the dose, lasted about a month. I also had some lower back soreness. Body aches are common.

Good luck on your course, looking forward to seeing your progress!!

I'm on day 20  on 80mg of accutane a day! I had a little break out just the last two days where I got three red big pimples pop up on my chin, nose, and cheek bone. I'm guessing those are accutane caused because I don't ever get acne like these in hose places, usually around my jawline be the back sides of my cheeks and forehead.

Ive also noticed that I have the most clogged pores in the areas I'm breaking out and all the clogged pores seem to be pushing to the surface, which is great! Also anytime I'm getting anything it's going away quite quick!

I have ave noticed that the brain fog has kind of minimized and gone away a little. I was having some rib pain be soreness but that has pretty much gone away. One thing that is totally killer though are my heels! I work on my feet for 8 hours a day and my heels will end in one much pain after work!

And as as far as dryness goes I have been doing great and done have any dry skin on my face, my lips are dry but not peeling cracking or bleeding. My body is dry but I moisturizer every night. My scalp is less itchy and I seriously have gone a whole week without washing my hair because there is no oil!
