Starting my accutane journey!! I've been wanting start for some time because I've struggle with persistent acne for 2 years (it could be worse but it still affected my self esteem). A quick run down on what I've tried in the past: benzoyl peroxide, salicyclic acid, Proactiv, tactuo (epiduo), aczone, doxycycline, clindoxyl, minocycline, retin-A .05% and .25%, Alesse (STARTED CYSTS ON CHEEKS), biacna, aczone again, Diane/cyestra-35, cyproterone acetate & now accutane! My skin is moderate, I do get cysts quite often. I've also recently started breaking out on my back which is what I think caused the "tipping point" for me to start accutane. My skincare routine is doing has been for a long time: effaclar cleanser La Roche Posay, Effaclar mattifying moisturizer (day or night), lipidar (?) moisturizer (night), oils of life serum from the Body Shop (sometimes at night). I wash my hands before washing my face, I lather up the cleanser until foaming and gently cleanse my face. Pat dry then apply moisturizers and topicals. I am also a HUGE fan of Lush's mask for magnaniminty, it's very refreshing and soothing - the ingredients are great!! I'm open  any questions, just wanna help anyone going through it too :)
