Acne has ruined my life 
I have had acne since I was 12 years old I didn't really care when I was younger. I was on doxycycline on and off for 7 years it helped while I was on it but it wasn't the cure. I tried changing my diet no milk no sugar nothing help. I don't have any friends anymore because I don't like going out anymore.People thought I was really weird because I have social anxiety now it's because of acne. I don't have a job because every time I go for a interview I can't look people in the eyes. I am a 21 year old female. I was on accutane 10mg a day for about 8 months about 2 months ago I finished my course I had the best time of my life. But after 3 weeks of finishing accutane my acne and oily skin returned wrose then ever. Now 4 days ago I went to my doctor and he still gave me 10mg even tho it didn't work!!! I am 54kg 5ft 2 he should be giving me more. But anyway I will take this .
I will be posting my journey every day .I have attached a picture of my skin. Hope this helps someone. I would rather die then I have acne!!!!!!

I've also struggled with severe acne since my teenage years, unfortunately, my acne also causes a much more severe problem, keloid scaring (I have acne scars that have developed raised scars that are several inches across and half an inch tall on my chest and shoulders) I've also started to get keloid scars on my jawline area. (keloids are permanent and there's no cure, unlike acne)
I know what acne can do to our self-esteem but it should not stop us from living a normal life. Looking at your case I'm fairly confident that a larger dose of accutane would probably get rid of your acne for a at least few years if not for good . Based on your weight 40mg seems like the approriate dose. 10mg defintely sounds too long and will not provide a permanent solution.

I have scars all over my face. It sucks my doctor wont give me high dose because where I live they give low doses. I will take accutane for the rest of my life to have clear skin. Acne has ruin my career plans I even dropped out of college.
Hey! I'm in your same exact position! I start 10mg in 3 weeks and I hope it's not too low of a dosage (105 pounds) but I have moderate acne.
They say the first month is the most difficult since you get your initial breakout and then it gets much better 
If 10mg doesn't work, try 20mg it's still considered low. So hang on there!! We must make it!!
Have you had any weird side effects like headaches etc?

I did get headaches when I took accutane at night and couldn't sleep. So I am taking it around lunch time and it's better now.

i haven't updated a while now , unfortunately i have to stop taking accutane due to issues i am having with it.
i feel like throwing up every morning, i can't sleep all night and i haven't been eating well. its been 7 days since i stopped accutane and i feel so much better but i know my acne will return i might the acne.org regimen i hope it works. i am just one of the unlucky people .
So I haven't post it here a while now but after stopping accutane. I ordered the acne.org regimen and it's the best thing I ever did!!! I here been using it for 3 weeks now and my skin is so clear. I don't really use the moisturizer but I use bp and the cleanser only once a day it's working!!!!! Love my life
