Been on accutane 40mg for a month now and the main side effect is the dry skin. It flakes a lot and I normally just gently peel off the dry skin at the end of the day with some tweezers, but I'm starting to wonder if I should still do this or not. I moisturize like crazy with CeraVe, minus when I'm at work for 8 hours. Is there anything out there that helps with the flakiness, any good exfoliators? I've tried a few Lush products, oatifix and cup o' coffee, but oatifix made me break out a little and cup o' coffee doesn't seem to be doing much from what I can tell. I've heard the sacred truth is another food face mask to try from Lush as well.
