hi everyone,

i've just finished my 10th day of claravis (accutane)!!

i'm 20 years old, been struggling with acne hardcore since i was 15, i'm in the same boat as many people on this site, tried it all, proactive, doxycycline, solodyn, retin a, facial peels, all vegan no gluten no dairy diet, the caveman regimen, the list goes on and on and on and on...

dermatologists have been trying to prescribe me accutane for years, but i've always been really scared just like many because of the side effects. but i've been visiting this site for a while now, and reading everyones logs and experiences has really inspired me to try it! and now that i have started it, i figured id do my own log!

so i just finished the 10th day, 20mg of claravis, think I'm bumping up to 40 next month, then 60, then 80, should be on it for around 6 months but i've already seen results, which i know is kind of weird... I'm still breaking out a bit but my skin, eyes, and nose have already dried up and the acne has started to harden and kinda flake off.. yeah it's definitely kinda gross looking but there's a really weird sense of enlightenment now and gained self-confidence, now that I've finally taken the step to try this...

so yeah... I'm very stoked! and just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone on this site for giving me the courage to go through with it
