Hey guys,

I am a 23 y/o male with moderate acne that is annoying, but definitely not restricting my life in many ways. Nonetheless, I started Claravis 40 mg and I am now on day 8. Since yesterday I have been experiencing serious brain fog/haziness, and difficulty concentrating. It is extremely distracting and definitely not manageable for 5 months. I am not on any other medications. With that in mind, my question is: Is there any chance this symptom will go away?

I cannot manage with this feeling. I am just about ready to stop taking it even though I want clear skin SO badly. The only way I can do this is if this side effect stops.

Thanks for any help.

Hmm - I have to say, the symptoms may not go away for a little whule (the brain fog I experienced wasn't exactly debilitating but it was noticeable), but there are ways to manage it. I found coffee in the mornings really did help, as did eating a good breakfast and lunch. Taking my pills in the evenings instead of one in the mornings helped a bit too. Getting plenty of sleep is important, so try to go to bed at a decent hour. Also avoid alcohol as much as possible, any amount only increased my feelings of brain fog the next day.
