I just started taking accutane about 2 weeks ago. And stumbled across this website when I was seeking help for trying to find out what the heck to do with my face and how to care for it while on this medication. When I started this crazy strong meds, I had people (both family and friends) asking me why I was even taking it in the first place. My acne is mostly on my back and shoulders - and being a 17 year old girl the thought of being in a bathing suit during the summer terrifyed me! So now im fighting back finally! Moisturizer has become my best friend and I'm looking forward to the next few months (even if my face does somewhat resemble a dragons)
