Hi everyone!

Im a 19 year old male that currently have moderate to sometimes severe-ish acne (thats what my derma told me), i had acne since i was in highschool, around the age of 14 i guess when it all started to get my attention. Back then it was like meh, every one of my friends is having acne too considering that we live in a tropical country so why be crazy about it. It wasnt a big thing for me and my confidence was still on its highest peek.

It just got alot worst during this summer, i got huge nodules and pustules all over my cheeks, my forehead is pretty fine i havent got any zits around that area when i stopped using hair styling products. But my upper and lower cheeks are a mess. It got to the point where i didnt want to go to parties and even to my family reunions. So i went to the dermatologist to finally get rid of this horrible acne and she gave me some topicals which include:(charcoal soap, acne toner, day cream, night cream) and been advised to get my blood checked for a prescription of oral meds. With that being said, after i gave her my blood results she then gave me a pill called ISOTANE 20mg to take for a month and later found out that it was isotretinoin. I weigh 79 kgs and 6 foot tall.

Im finally over the 1st week mark, during the week i got breakouts on my cheek and was pretty bad, dry lips, and a burning sensation whenever i apply the topicals that my derm gave me.

Im pretty happy hitting the 8 day mark. I can see my active acne are starting to heal, i can say that my left cheek is pretty clear at his point. It dont feel bumpy as before and only has those nasty hyper pigmentations. My right cheeks thou started to break out but its in control now.

So far so good. Ill keep a weekly update just to show my progression within the month that i take Isotane 20mg.
