So I never posted anything on this site before, but I thought I'd make an account and keep track of my Accutane journey!
I'm on 20mg a day (Two 10mg capsules) and it's like my eighth or ninth day today on Accutane. My only side effects are: Super itchy skin, whiteheads/redness and a bit of flaky skin. I feel like it's not working since I'm getting almost no side-effects, not to mention my skin got worse I think!
I'm also thinking of asking my doc if I can move up to 40mg because she's trying to put me on Accutane for a year, and I REALLY don't want to have to stay out of the sun, never drink, live with side-effects for an entire year, I want to be done by the end of July.
Today is around my 13th day and I've had three different bacterial infections (not sure if it's because of Accutane) most of them are on my left side of my body. My blood filled cyst came back and so did my other one too and they really hurt. Besides my forehead, it doesn't seem to be helping much on my acne.
