it is normal to experience an IB (initial breakout). Accutane is bringing all the crap out of your skin. For most people the skin doesn't begin to improve until the 3rd month. If your skin is still not getting better by that time you should up your dosage.

This is my first time writing in this forum . I have been having acne since I was in grade 9 now it ha been 5 years . I messed up my life . I try to hide my self most of holiday time , but I still put every of my effort into my study . I still remain as the top student . Thing started to change when I graduated from high school . I start to feel insecure about my face , tons of scar and acne . I try every single products out there . Nothing works . It is my last resort now . I have been taking accutane 20 mg for 3 weeks . I don't see any improvement in contrast I have more new acnes coming out . Some are cystic acne that I rarely got . Can anybody tell me how to expect from accutane . I am pretty scared of that fact that I might can not get better through this treatment . Please help me ,,,,,

Any photos of your acne? I took 20mg as well (For about a month to 1.5 months), but I took 20mg every other day only
