I'm going to start my aknenormin (accutane) course next week.
32/male/176 lbs
Prescribed dose: 80 mg/day
My acne is mild to moderate but persistent.
Sure I'll ask my dermatologist about shaving, but it will be nice and interesting for me to hear from you also. (Your real experience)
I shave with Gillette 3 mach razor once in 2 days.
1. What do you suggest me, should I continue with this, or will be better to switch on Philips electric shaver? (Which one lesser irritates skin?)
2. Sometimes i put on my redness makeup (Vichy - Normaderm) is tonal cream compatible with accutane therapy?

I switched from disposable razors to an electric one a couple months ago and it's much less irritating around active spots but it's hard to get a close shave under my chin with it. I use a Braun and I only need to shave once every 2-3 days. Good luck.
