Starting the regimen tonight after a mishap this morning. Generally terrified of the BP effect because seen so many people on the forums saying that it just hasnt worked for them.
Regimen will be
Johnsons head to toe baby wash (Cleanser)
Dans BP (Only at night for first week)
Cetaphil moisturising lotion
So applied everything. I was surprised how much the BP felt and smelt like this cream called skinoren I was made to use when I was like 14. So my face is stinging a bit. Think I used too much cetaphil, seemed to make my face so wet like I had just drowned in it ha.
Very worried about the effects of this regimen
Worrying and thinking negatively is not gonna help me with this though....Wish me luck!
So just applied the regimen for the third day. Already my skin is really red from the BP. Particularly on my cheeks. I just applied it now and it is stinging like fuck!
I used to use a 10% PanOxyl wash, basically 10% BP. After applying that even though I used it for like two years my skin was always so red.
Would I take no acne but redskin? At the moment yes...I suppose
So almost ended week three of the regimen. I'm up to two thirds of a finger length of BP. Today is the first day in a couple of week I have felt bad about my skin again. In terms of active acne I have a few spots, the spots on my chin are almost cleared.
BUT! I have so many red marks and red blotches over my face. The dry and flakiness is so annoying as well. Seems whatever you do it just won't go.
I skipped the Bp part of the regimen Saturday night because I went out with my friends. I was supposed to not skip it Sunday morning but by the time I woke up and was ready it was too late to do it. Seems like missing it may have held me back a bit.
Also there seems to ne these lines on my face kind of going from nose to the side of mouth. makes my face looks saggy if that makes sense. Could that be the BP? I feel like snoopy the dog.
Today is a bad day!!
You have to realize that for the first 3 to 4 months you are going to have shit skin. some people are lucky in that regard but many of us are not. I used to have rash like acne appear 1 to 2 times a week and i felt embarrased as hell but i powered through it and 6 months + on the regimen, i am doing much better. It's too early for you to be skipping the regimen and deviating from instructions, namely moisturizing. If you do that, you won't know for sure that this is or is not working for you

Thanks for your reply. Recently if I go out I just end up doing the regimen when I come in after my night out. So the regimen has completely worked for you?
Had a couple of new pimples break out. I don't really care about the active acne anymore. The acne on my chin has gone. I have other pimples appear but not too bothered about them. Its just the red marks and hyperpigmentation that the BP seems to bring out. Which I know it is how it works just wish there was a good way to combat it.
Also the dryness and flaking, just can't get rid of it!!! So annoying
