hi idk what™s causing this. I used to struggle w severe little forehead bumps for about 3 years but i™ve been clear of them for about a year & a half. a few weeks ago I noticed a few bumps popping up again and i got a little worried but no big deal. flash forward to now my forehead is in a complete break out. I have no idea what™s causing this and I wanna get back to my clear skin asap. I use vanicream gentle facial cleanser, curology at night w niacinamide, clindamycin, & azelaic acid, & neutrogena hydro boost gel cream moisturizer. could this be folliculitis? any recommendations anyone has would be extremely helpful. thanks!

Hi.

when I was young I used to have my forehead FULL of those tiny bumps-whiteheads.

in my experience, products with salicylic acid and Sulfur 10% (my favourite) works the best. I also remember hot and especially humidity made it much worse, as it happens for many people.

best of luck!

I have paulas choice bha but I am honestly so scared to try it on my face because my skin is so sensitive. what products do you recommend with sulfur 10%? also imcurrently using a topical treatment w azelaic acid, clindamycin, and niacinamide at night. this has worked very well for me in the past but right now it seems to be breaking me out more??? could it be my skin purging bc of the azelaic acid producing new cell turnover? or could it be fungal acne & the clindamycin is making it worse since its an antibiotic?? or could it just be something clogging my pores?

my current routine:

morning: vanicream gentle facial cleanser & cerave AMmoisturizing lotion w spf 30

night: vanicream gentle facial cleanser, clindamycin, niacinamide & azelaic acid topical lotion, & neutrogena hydro boost gel cream
