My acne started kind of on my face growing up through school as a teen and I always thought it was just one of those hormone things that some teenagers get. Few years later my facial acne clears but I started to get another problem, bacne it started off fine but then it kind of got worse and worse and I've always waited for it to just heal up but I'm fed up of it because it looks horrible and it just destroys body confidence.
It's slowly built up on my back and now it looks like it's scared? I have weird purple raised lumps of skin left by the huge under skin spots and the acne has kinda slowly progressed onto my arms and random spots appearing on stomach etc
any idea what I can do to fix all this? any recommended products from sites in the UK or such or if I should see someone sick and tired of this stupid bacne
I had similar back acne. (Mine fluctuates greatly and isn't AS bad at the minute).
But yeah my doctor prescribed me different things like topical and duac which didn't seem to do anything.
I've read that Head and Shoulders (the shampoo) is suppose to work well for back acne, but personally I don't want to try it. I have a dermatologist next month though because I tried 4 different oral antibiotics and nothing seemed to work. So hopefully I'll get prescribed accutane and that'll do the trick.
