I had awful back acne. I can't give you an exact time frame but I would guess my back started clearing up within the first month.

I had the same experience as raffibomb. Had bad acne on my chest, back and face. I was totally clear of new acne everywhere including my chest and back about 2 months in. It look longer from some of hte deep cystic ones to heal. (I will say though, for me, it came back about 2 years later, and I took another course of Accutane and got clear again, and it came back about 2 years after that).
