I'm struggling with recent neck/upper back/chest acne and I think it's because my hair has gotten longer...I didn't used to have this problem, but my hair's gotten pretty long and the only thing that makes sense to me is that the moisture or oil from my hair is causing me to break out. A friend suggested possible allergies to my shampoo/conditioner, so I've tried a few different kinds now but always end up with the same problems. I'm kinda frustrated and I don't know what else to try, has anyone had this problem or know of anything that might help? Thanks!!
idk i have bangs like on forhead and on sides, but even tho i use no products, at least not like daily, i still break out at those places, but then again i break out on other places as well, so idk if its that connected, i also make sure i wash hair regularly so its not greasy etc. so imo its probably more of a internal thing afterall, and if it would be corrected then skin would just kinda bare and deal with bacteria or grease or whatever that gets on yo skin like normally? :/
I ABSOLUTELY believe that my long hair is responsible for acne on my neck, shoulder blades, & chest. This is how I know: ive NEVER had acne in any of those places UNTIL I got hair extensions about two weeks ago. Now, when my hair is wet after the shower, I realize that the oils from my styling products is probably clogging my pores. I hope this helps because I cannot pinpoint any other explanation for this
