I read somewhere that, once opened, benzoyl peroxide can start losing its effectiveness from the 3rd month. Kindly educate me on the validity of that statement. And when exactly should I toss the bottle and get a new one. And how I can maintain it's effectiveness once opened. Some say that putting it in the fridge helps.
