Dead skin with regimen?

Hi everyone. I very recently started the regimen, this being my second week using the cleanser, benzoyl peroxide and moisturizer, and while I have noticed some minor results, I recently began having this issue of what I think is dead skin all over my face? It's not really noticable, but lightly rubbing my face now produces this gummy, grayish stuff that I have to believe is dead skin, especially on my forehead and temples ... Is this a common occurrence for people just starting the regimen? How can I fix it if that's the case? I will say that I started quickly with the benzoyl peroxide because I had previously been using a higher concentration of the stuff before going on the regimen, and while I haven't quite experienced the crazy flakiness of other users (mostly just minor dry patches that's fixed with moisturizer), I have noticed an excess of dead skin. Any tips?

Hi Billy6710,

I'm sorry to hear about your skin. You could be removing dead skin which can sometimes appear as white or gray. Kindly make sure that you follow directions precisely as outlined and to make sure to use the Acne.org Moisturizer twice a day to avoid dryness.

Pretty normal especially if you are brand new to the regimen. Around week 4, you should incorporate AHA very slowly with a pea sized amount (seriously, don't go overboard at first because it will burn BAD). It will dramatically help with the peeling. Make sure you moisturize well and gently after each application of BP once it dries after 10-15 minutes. :D
