Not sure if I'm doing something incorrectly but I've been using the regimen for 2+years and had no issuesssss; closest my skin has been to perfect. I don't use it as often as before andrecently I've been experiencing a lot of irritation. My eye lids were swollen after using the product one night so I gave it a break for about 2 weeks. Started using it again and the lids got swollen again and my skin felt rough dry and slightly burnt (like a scab). Even have a little discoloration from the burn on my forehead. Did ingredients change?

Hi WhiteGridlock,

I'm sorry to hear about your skin. We did not change our formula so if the Acne.org Treatment worked before, it should always work on your skin. Are you using any other products in conjunction with The Regimen recently?

Thanks for your reply. Recently no. The days priorto the irritation, I was only using the acne.orgcleanser (stopped using the treatmentfor about 2 months as Ididn't really need it). Out of curiosity I decided to use the treatment on a small areajust to make sure I wasn't going crazy and it burnt the area (no discoloration, just rough like a scab). Do you think Im using too much?

This wouldn't happen simply from using too much of any product. It sounds like you might be having areaction to something. Swelling can be a sign of allergy. Allergies can also develop over time.

I would stop using any product you think might be causing the swelling and try it on your inner elbow for a few days. See how your skin reacts there. If things seem ok, you can try just a bit on your jawline. And only move forward slowly as long as nothing is reacting. This way you can hopefully figure out what product is causing the reaction.
