Hello,
So i have to start off by saying i love acne.org, it has always worked for me; however, once i stop using it, it seems like my acne always comes back. I don't have bad acne but when i stop using the regimen, it seems like i'll have about 2 pimples at a time, always.. then those pimples leave a little darkened spots so my skin looks spotty.
I thought by now, being 30, working out, andhaving a somewhat healthy diet (plant based) that my acne would have calmed down but it's kind of just stayed the same as before.
Am i destined to always have to use the regimen? Is there anyone that has any advice they can offer?
Until you aren't acne-prone any more, you'll need to treat your skin. Acne in adult women is thought to be largely hormonal. Have you had your hormone levels checked? That is always a good start just to make sure things are looking ok.
Then it's usually just a waiting game. I just spoke to someone yesterday who talked about how they just stopped using the regimen because their acne finally subsided in their mid 20s. So you never know exactly when it will subside.
