A brief review of the acne.org regimen and products

I've been doing the acne.org regimen for more than 4 months.

Results: Almost completely clear skin. Skin glows and pores appear less clogged and smaller.

Have I followed the regimen 100%?: No. I mostly never use the treatment AM unless I'm not leaving the house. This is because my skin becomes extremely dry if I use it consistently AM, and I just can't have my skin flaking off in meetings at work.

Any problems?: Extreme dryness was an issue in the first month. I was rebellious and used a wet muslin cloth to remove some intense dry areas. This helped a lot. But most recently, I have stopped that, and I apply jojoba oil to a cotton wool pad and swoopover my face after cleansing to gently remove any dry skin whilst moisturising it. I then apply an SPF moisturiser if I'm going outside, otherwise, I just use the acne.org moisturiser.

Tips: Use a pillowcase that is white otherwisethe treatment will bleach it. Or use a pillowcase you don't care about bleaching. Also be careful of any other pillows that you're lying against onyour sofa, for example. Another tip, use jojoba oil early on in the regimen to combat extreme dryness, especially at night. Moisturiser is your best friend! And avoid using the treatment near your eye area.

The reality: I still get the occasional spot, but nothing major. Hormonal acne still occurs but not as bad as before acne.org regimen and products.

What's next for me: I will continue to do the acne.org regimen and use the products. I'm going to add the glycolic acid to the mix, so excited to see results there. I will also try to use the treatment AM more to see if I can handle it more now. I think this would help with any hormonal or occasional spots that try to crop up.

Overall, I'mso thankful for the regimen and products. I'd almost given up hope on having clearer skin. And what's more, I really appreciate the honesty and work from Dan Kern to bring his awareness and knowledge to us all.
