Doing The Regimen with a beard?

I am nearing the end of week 3 of the Regimen. Maybe some improvement, but not as much as I had hoped. I admit I have not followed the regimen to a T, and tend to rub when I use cleanser, especially on my forehead which is extremely oily and is where most of my acne is, as I feel I'm not getting off residual oil/cleanser without rubbing. I've also used scrubs and other products here and there. No more. I'm going to follow the regimen to a T exactly as Dan describes, with no product substitutions, and see how I do.

Here's a pickle: I have facial hair and I am not willing to get rid of it. I recently got a job as an operating room RN so I may have to anyway, but the place I'll be working is a little bit less strict on beards than some places (research shows it's not really as much of a problem as originally thought anyway).

How do I perform the regimen with a beard? I've been mostly skipping areas covered with facial hair as they tend to not get much acne anyway. Should I use an extra pump of BP and get it deep in the facial hair?

I would like to grow my facial hair but I'm on accutane. I feel like I can't get moisturiser to reach down below facial hair and therefore my beard area is seriously dry. Plus I waste moisturiser too.

if it isn't dry underneath just cleanse it and leave the rest
