Hi ever since I started using the AHA it seems that my face is either slightly red all over or slightly darker pigment than the rest of my face. Am I using too much AHA? I used about an index fingers work just as I do the benzoyl peroxide.

Are you using it everyday? I don't use it myself but when researching it I read that you should only use AHA 2 times a week. If you want to use it everyday then it's suggested you use about 50% AHA and then 50% of the acne.org moisturiser and mix them together before applying. The AHA can cause your skin to become red.

Are you reading my mind? I was here literally searching for other people to have the same problem! :D
I've been on the regimen about 3-4 months now (I have the acne.org BP, but other brand as cleanser and moisturizer) and I started using AHA for about a month ago. In my opinion the AHA really helps and somehow makes the skin better, but as a tradeoff my skin really gets red and dry. I partly think this is due to my moisturiser and the cold weather. However, it is a bit embarrasing when my friends have given me a comment such as ''wow, why are your face so red''.

I was also using the AHA alone every 2 days. I think I should do it more seldom too...

Feel free to comment!
