So I have been on regiment for a year now. I have used once a day every day almost as I only had minor acne, however it almost always leaves a spot. So recently to get rid of these spots I have been on the regiment hardcore like twice a day and I also used acne orgs AHA+ TWICE a week. But the problem is that it's causing discoloured skin and redness. I think the technical term is hyperpigmentation. Is this normal? Will it go away once new cells appear on the skin?

Hi Pliablefather,

Hyperpigmentation is caused by an inflammation of the skin when you had acne. This is perfectly normal and it should clear up on it's own within a few weeks or more. To speed up the process, you may continue using the Acne.org AHA+ every 2-3 days, once a day.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.
