Hey guys it™s Sarah :)

So... recently I went to my dermatologist and she prescribed me tazorac 0.5% along with facewash from Cerave hydrating facial cleanser! My lesions have gone down but I feel like within the next two months they won™t be compeltley gone.. I used to have a bunch of closed comedonal acne all along my forehead and sides of my hair line and cheeks! The tazorac has eliminated about I would say 85% and there™s some active acne because I usually have to pop some of the acne to get everything out because the tazorac just puts a new layer of skin over the acne... which doesn™t make sense what so ever. I™ve been trying to clear my acne for about 9 months now and this is probably it™s best state atm. I™m just concerned that I won™t see that much great results and the acne will most likely still be there... it™ll be 2 months in December and it usually takes about 3-6.... I™m not sure of what to do, I was thinking of buying some type of glycolic acid to help with some of the acne that won™t budge unless I pop so... idk should I wait another two moths before switching? Increasing the tazorac medicine? Or abandon all and try the acne.org regimen

Hi Sarah,

We would recommend that you follow the directions that is instructed to you by your dermatologist. However if you still do not clear up within a few weeks, you may certainly switch to the Acne.org Regimen products to get you clear.
