Your skin is getting darker and duller because of the dead skin accumulating and it would continue to look that way for at least a month because in the regimen there is no exfoliation. It's until you are used to the treatment, then you can use AHA to get rid of it.

So this hyperpigmentation is not permanent????? Would it be a good idea to use the neutrogena bar soap cleanser instead of the acne.org cleanser

It's definitely not permanent. Happened to me as well the first weeks into the regimen. No, don't use the neutrogena.

One last question, so if i continue this regimen will the hyperpigmentation go away with the regimen or do i need another product to get rid of it?

Hi oyinkan98. How long would you say your skin was dark for and how long did it take to go back to normal. I just started the regimen 3 weeks ago and I can see myface is getting significantly dark. What would you advise, please? Continue with BP twice a day or cut down to 1? I've been trying not to mix acne.org with other brands, but should I exfoliate?
