I started the Acne.org regimen on May16th, so two days ago and so far so good. I noticed some pimples are coming to a head which I hate; however, the BP is drying them up to the point where they end up just flaking off. Other than that I haven't experienced flakey, dry skin. My skin just tends to feel a bit dry after washing my face and having to wait a while to moisturize because the BP is next. At the moment I'm only using a pea size amount at night of the BPand when I say pea size I really mean pea size! I don't want to rush into it too fast and my skin gets flakey. Yesterday I bought some Jojoba oil and the Neutrogena ultra sheerdry-touch sunscreenspf 30 (instead of the one recommended by Dan because ithas so many bad reviews)and they are contributing greatly. I didn't buy acne.org's jojoba however because quite frankly to me it's overpriced. The moisturizer kind of irritates me a little because I have to rub my face for a long time for it to absorb into my skin. Even after absorbed my face looks extremely slick, so I think when my face clears up I'm going to gradually switch to Cerave's face cream. At night time I don't mind the slickness, but in morning no thank you! Plus I'm choosing to wear makeup while on the regimen. I feel really self-conscious without it, at the moment. Other than that the moisturizer is moisturizing my face with the help of the jojoba oil.

Glad you're off to a great start! Ramping up BP ahead of schedule is one of the common mistakes people make...and speaking from personal experience here too as someone who made this same mistake! I thought "This is easy! I've got this!" and by the end of week 2 my face was lobster red and my skin was so dry I was scared that the skin would crack open!! I ended up wearing a Vaseline mask to bed for 3 nights until my skin felt better, and then I stopped the Regimen and started over.
I'm not saying this will happen to you, but there's a reason why Dan recommends people easing their skin gradually into the treatment. It's to prevent this very thing from happening. But occasionally there is the odd lucky person who manages to avoid all the uncomfortable redness and dryness and can heap on the BP from day 1.
I hope this makes sense!
