I started the regimen about a week ago, and the morning after my first time using it, my face was covered in tiny invisible bumps along with red blotches and flakes of dead skin. I continued to follow the regimen since irritation was to be expected, but the feeling on my face was the same as when I had experienced allergic reactions in the past. I stopped using the moisturizer a day ago and replaced it with my cetaphil moisturizer, and the tiny bumps have gone away along with some of the blotchiness. So my question is: will I be able to achieve clear skin without using the moisturizer in the kit?
We do recommend using only Acne.org products for the first 3 months or until you're clear before making any product changes, it seems to work best that way, But as long as you're moisturizing, you should be fine. Many on here are successful using other moisturizers besides Dan's.
