I've used BP 10% before I got the acne.org treatment (2 days ago). I used BP 10% for a good two weeks and always had redness. However, from starting the acne.org regimen the redness is just as bad, I figure this may reduce over some time but figured it would be less because it is BP 2.5%? I also notice since using BP, every time I wash my face whatsoever e.g. cleanser, water -I get worse redness (even though I follow the instructions, very carefully).
I'm going to keep using the treatment but the redness is insane when I use BP, it's very noticeable. I have read the instructions and have noted redness for 1-2 weeks. Additionally, it doesn't burn much at all when I use the BP and shortly the small burning goesbut I am using the correct amount.
My question: will the redness go? the redness previously did not go with 10% BP. How long will it take? assuming two weeks as the regimen says.
I'm sorry to hear about your skin.
Dryness and irritation is to be expected during the first few weeks into The Regimen but it eventually goes away.
Use Acne.org Regimen products precisely as outlined and make sure that you are not using any other products along with The Regimen to get you perfectly clear.
Make sure that you are using 2 full pumps of The Acne.org Moisturizer twice a day or as often as needed to prevent dryness and irritation. You may also add in 5-6 drops of Jojoba Oil into the Moisturizer each time you apply it for additional moisture.
I know it's tough at the beginning but just be patient and you will have clear skin.

Dan's 2.5% formula is very gentle compared to 10% formulas...but also highly absorbent in its gel form, compared to thick creams which tend to absorb more gradually. So Dan's gel may be a shock to some! Don't underestimate it!! As mentioned above, the redness does eventually subside and with continued use will feel comfortable enough to use at the full dose twice a day, the key to clear skin! Keep moisturizing and add some jojoba oil if needed to keep your skin in balance!!
Hope this is helpful!
