So, this is what I use every day/night for my acne. In the morning I like to do my 15 minute workout, brush my teeth and shower. I use my Cerave Cleanser while I shower and massage my skin for 15 seconds, rinse and gently pat dry. I wait for 15 minutes for my skin to absorb the moisture. After that, I do one pump of the Benzoyl peroxide and three drops of the Jojoba oil. Gently massage the mixture for three minutes, and wait for 15 minutes for my skin to absorb. After the 15 minutes are up, I mix one pump of the acne.org moisturizer and 5 drops of the Jojoba oil. Gently massage that for three minutes and it's time to start my day.
Nighttime, if I decide to wear makeup, I use the wipes to remove my makeup, wet my face, and use my Cerave Cleanser. I use my cleanser twice, one to remove any excess makeup and two to have more of a clean feel. Sometimes I will use my Enzyme Peel after I have cleansed. Everything else is the same as my morning routine, but after the BP mix, I use one pump of the AHA + One Pump of theacne.org moisturizer + 5 drops of the Jojoba oil. Massage for three minutes, drink my ginger tea, stretch and off to bed. I have been on the regimen for almost nine months, the first three months my skin looked clear, but after some stress, depression, and biotin pills, my acne came back. I am trying my hardest to remain positive, it's difficult, but if I am in this fight, I will be the champ again.
If this isn't working, I'd consider stopping the few drops of jojoba oil mixed with the BP treatment. It's very important that other particles don't enter your pores ahead of the BP treatment so that nothing stands between the BP and the acne bacteria. Most acne bacteria will die on contact with BP. It's fine to add jojoba oil in with your moisturizer for extra hydration, this is recommended and encouraged.
@DeLovely
i don't know why i started mixing Jojoba and BP, I figured since the BP is drying, maybe adding a few drops of Jojoba will help conceal the dryness. Thank you for clarifying.
