Hi everyone,
I've been on the regimen for a little over 6 weeks now, and it's doing a great job, I rarely have any active acne any more and my face is smoothing out. The only frustrating part is the redness. I don't feel any discomfort when I put on the BP or moisturize, and my dryness seems very mild, however, the redness has been extremely persistent. It hasn't been declining at all. I know it takes some people up to even 4 months for redness to go away, but I'm a bit concerned because before the DKR i was using another BP prescription from the derm for a long time in low doses, and my skin never stopped being red from it. How should i proceed?
Redness is probably the second-biggest complaint (the first being uncomfortable dryness). My advice is to just try and muscle through. The redness does go away eventually for most people. But it does not mean you're allergic if that's what you're worried about. Just be sure you're using a good noncomedogenic moisturizer with sunscreen for during the day. This will help minimize any redness.

That is totally fine to do.
For some people it is an additional step so they sometimes mix it together. But if you can wait for the moisturizer to dry before applying the SPF then that is great!
Hai nicmic62. Is it much better to place AHA before BP or should I apply BP then AHA? because I'm currently dealing with hyper pigmentation. I have like lots of them, not very pleasing to the eyes. Also is it okay to use AHA alone every night with like 2 pea sized amounts? Because I have tried mixing it with moisturizer slowly and then gradually to 1:1 ratio and found that it is not beneficial enough because my dead skin patches can still be seen clearly. Please suggest the ways I could help with the dead patches and AHA. Help....
