do you use jojoba oil to balance out flakiness? - what other methods have you tried in the past?
no I haven't changed anything and no I don't use jojoba oil but I will now and the only things I've really tried are drug store face washes that never worked and I went to my dermatologist and they prescribed 10% benzoyl peroxide but that's it
You can try this alternative Solgar dry vitamin A tablet form before going accutane your last resort. Dont buy those softgel or capsule vitamin A because the oily form of vitamin A lead to acne since it has some degree of oil inside.
Avoid any oily food, dairy products, sugary stuff and spicy food where possible.
You can crush the vitamin A tablet and use it as topical scar treatment and apply it with hot water compressed in cotton ball 60-70degree and leave it 1-2minutes. Wash it thereafter.
Dont use any BP as it will only worsen the acne. Just pop the acne with sterile needle and squeeze the pus out. If stubborn acne doesnt come to head (no whitehead) apply hot compressed or take warm bath several times a day until it can readily be popped (either whitehead appears or retry squeezing but first you must use a needle to open up a small hole so that the pus can come out).
Yes AHA is good at clearing clogged pores discontinue use if too drying combination with BP is not a good idea. You could try Nixoderm

Actually BP can kills the p.acne as well as speed up the oxidization of skin cell surrounding becomes dead skin cell and clogged pores. So I personally never use BP as it brings more harm than good. I only use AHA and moisturiser/anti-oxidant to slow down the oxidization of skin cell.
Tablet usually comes in dry form only. There are some capsule in dry form too but i will not risk buying the wrong stuff and softgel is in liquid form only i believe. Read the description whether they are in tablet, capsule or softgel. For example, softgel retinol usually derived from fish oil will do more harm than good eventhough it has vitamin A in it. It would appears to be effective at first at controlling the sebum but gradually the "waste oil" from capsule slowly build up in the body and hence lead to cystic acne.
You can buy "Solgar dry vitamin A" which has retinyl palmitate 5000IU and L-ascorbic acid 10mg in tablet form.

so what should I be using while on these tablets like wash my face with what and when should I use the AHA+. also this is supposed to help my red marks or spots right?
Since you have dry skin, you can either just wash with plain water or gentle mild cleanser. I want to know you are using AHA+ for spot treatment only? What is the strength you use? Did you apply it to whole face? tablet is not as harsh as BP so it will not interupt your AHA+ routine. You can apply AHA+ after topically use tablet. Make sure to wash off the tablet as it might clogged pores.
Yes, it helps to control your sebum as well when consuming. Topically it will helps speed up the healing red marks and spots.

yes I'm only using it for spot treatment and I use 10% so should I use BP while on the Vitamin A? also I'm 15 so should I start out with 10,000iu or 25,000 ?
