Uncomfortable burning after moisturising

Please help! I recently started the regimen. I'm 3 days in. I'm using the reccomended less than half a pump amount of BP and every time I use it I usually get some burning and itchiness when I apply moisturiser but not that bad, until tonight. I did my usual night stuff. Applied BP and moisturiser as normal (I used 1 and a 1/2 pumps of moisturiser) and my usual burning started but this time by the fifteen minute mark it was getting worse instead of better. I had intense but not unbearable tingling and burning specifically around my mouth. It's never been this bad. I decided to give it more time but it still didn't subside. It got to the point I had no idea what to do so I ran downstairs and splashed my face with cold water which basically removed the moisturiser. At this point I noticed that for the first time I have a little redness around the areas I mentioned. On the outside of the lips and upper lip, it feels a bit numb almost. My forehead gets really tight so I reapplied a little to my head and tried to put a little on my cheek just to see how it would react and it started burning again so I instantly used water on that area again. The water helped a tiny bit as I'm not in as much pain now but it's still stinging and I'm worried about the fact I have no moisturiser on. I'm 17, female and have dry/normal skin that isn't overly sensitive. I'm in the Uk and spent all the money I have getting the regimen (more than double of what it would cost for Americans) so I have a lot laying on this. I can deal with the burning I had for the first two days but I can't physically sit through what I had tonight every night. Any help is appreciated cause I'm kinda freaking out a little.

This is normal. It is your skin getting used to the BP. You might feel that stinging sensation for a few weeks but in time and with lots of moisturizer your skin will adapt and you won't feel the burning anymore.

Make sure you avoid getting the BP close to your eyes, mouth and nostrils as those areas can get pretty sensitive. Do not hesitate to apply another layer of moisturizer when you think your skin is too tight.

Thank you. I was just worried because it was significantly more painful that it was on other occasions. I appreciate the response
