HELP! Red, flaky, burning, very dark skin

Please help.

I've been on the acne.org regime for almost two weeks now. I started using the two full pumps of the BP followed by the moisturizer with jojoba oil half way through week two. My skin is extremely dry, flaky and very dark in a patchy pattern. It also burns. I'm going to stop using makeup because it just flakes off. And use more sunblock during the day.

I'm wondering if I started using too much of the BP too soon. Should I stop for a while? Use less?...

What should I do? I'm really scared. It looks awful!

Please respond soon.

Thank you for the reply. Do you recommend using less of the BP?

I have been using the regimen on my face for a full month now. I personally only use 1 full pump of benzoyl peroxide on my face. 2 pumps are not workable for me at the moment. My skin becomes way dry, and turns brown as well. Even without incorporating the AHA+ my skin has become 99% clear on just 1 pump, twice a day! |::Siava:

If I were you, i would reduce the amount of BP to 1 full pump and see if you get satisfying results. You could always up the BP dose at a later date. Always be sure to use plenty of moisturizer!

Thank you! I've decreased the ampunt for now. I'll keep it at one pump morning and evening for now. XD

I'm only at the end of week two so I'm not using the AHA+ yet. Is there something elae I can use\do to help get rid of all the flakes and dark dead skin? I moisturize throughout the day but sokn after grt the dry flaky skin again.

Dry skin, and its flakiness, should primarily be combated and prevented with plenty of moisturizer!

But.... I experienced quite some dead skin for the first few weeks myself. I was able to get it under control by VERY gently removing it with a wet washcloth. I used to do this after i washed my face.

Nevertheless, you should try to prevent the dryness by really layering on the moisturizer. You may apply it throughout the day, as often as you feel is required. Just be sure to be gentle and wash your hands first
