Dear Forum members,

I have been combating the acne on the back of my neck using Dan's regimen for 11 days. I am pleased to say that I am starting to see improvement! The only downside is that my neck is red, raw and very dry.Currently I am applying 1 pump of Benzoyl peroxide and AHA+ both day and night. I have tried applying a little more AHA+ to see if it could provide some more moisture, but alas!

Could I apply some acne.org moisturizer after I applied the AHA+? After about 15 minutes the AHA+ stops burning/tingling, I recon applying some acne.org moisturizer after this could solve some of the extreme dryness.
The alternative would be to apply less benzoyl peroxide for a while?

Up until now i have been following the regimen to the letter. That's why i am quite reluctant to just add the acne.org moisturizer to the regimen without consultation. Would love the hear your thoughts/suggestions!

Hi Howlingmad,

Thank you for contacting us. You may certainly use the Acne.org Moisturizer at the back of your neck to combat dryness. Usually, we recommend AHA+ after applying the Acne.org Treatment because skin at the back of the neck is tougher than skin on the face but you may use the Acne.org Moisturizer.
