So I've been doing the regimen for 9 weeks now and I still have redness and irritation despite still being on "week 2" amount of BP for a long time now. Should I stop or should I just tough through the higher does? Does the redness go away eventually despite constant application of BP?

The redness does go away after sometime. But you have to know the regimen does not target hyperpigmentation. Try incorporating AHA in the regimen if you haven't already. This will help.

I feel like the irritation just comes with the BP and even though it is red and dry and tight you have to push through and increase the amount to the full dosage. That way your skin can really take in the BP and adjust to it. Moisturizer is where you really target any dryness. Use jojoba oil with it or apply more throughout the day or maybe even use a thicker moisturizer at night.

Just FYI my skin didn't feel like skin again till I was four months into the regimen.

Thanks for pics, this helps us help you! Your skin doesn't look that red at all, if that helps. The treatment can cause angry, lobster-red skin (also normal!) and your skin isn't doing that, just a little pink which is very normal. Your skin looks mostly in balance, no sign of allergic reaction if that's the concern. You're doing a great job BTW!!...skin looks mostly clear...I'd just try and muscle on through. The redness and irritation do calm down but can take longer for some people.

Do you take zinc gluconate?? 30-40 mgs added to your diet can really help calm inflammation. Eating 2 carrots a day, or 2 cups of spinach a day, will give you 10,000 IU of vitamin A, also a powerful anti-inflammatory. Omega 3 fish oil is another known anti-inflammatory. My son takes all three. Don't expect instant results but with time, you may see less redness, and all of these will also help your acne.

Hope this is helpful! :)

Thanks for the feedback. Okay I will up the dosage. I was mostly talking about the skin on my nose and around it being red, other wise I'm aware the red marks and hyperpigmentation will not benefit from the BP without AHA or some kind of exfoliation.
