How long will my skin stay dry?

Hi everyone,

I have been using The Regimen for two weeks now. I have started with very little BP and increased the amount slowly. Now I am using half a finger long of BP. I do not want to increase the amount too fast as my skin is very sensitive.

The thing that worries me a lot is the dryness. My skin is extremely dry and flaky. When I put on the moisturiser I get the feeling that I am "gluing" the dry skin back to my face. When I touch my skin I don't feel that I am touching my own skin, it is that dry.
I just wonder if my skin will continue to be this dry and flaky while I am increasing the dosage? I guess It will take me a couple of weeks to start using 2 full fingers of BP. Will my skin be soft and normal as it used to be or I will have this dryness as long as I am using the PB?

I am using 1,5 pumps of moisturiser as my skin does not absorb 2 pumps. Sometimes I am adding the left half a pump when the 1,5 pumps are absorbed.

Thanks

People are often afraid of increasing the BP because of the dryness and flaking. However, keep in mind that your skin really has to go through the process so it can eventually adapt to the full dosage of the BP.

It wasn't a walk in the park for me but eventually my skin did adjust and now it feels like actual skin again.

As for your moisturizer...you can do it slowly just as long as you follow the dosage required. Throughout the day you can always add more if your skin feels dry.

I agree with Nicmic62. My skin stayed dry and flaky for 2 months and in the 3rd month, was still kind of flaky but only a little.
