After 1 month of the regimen (BP twice a day), my skin started to get better.
But after another month, I've stared to have bad breakout again and this time my acne area (cheeks) is red and peeling.
And during these 2 days, I've started have rash in my jawline which is so red and
itchy I can't even sleep.
Should I temporarily stop the BP or is this normal? Please help!
(I only wear sunscreen and very light powder during the day, no cc, no foundation or whatsoever)
Are you moisturizing?? If you are, it's OK to moisturize as often as you need to in order to keep your skin in balance, especially when your skin is red and uncomfortable. Adding a few drops of jojoba oil can also help give you extra moisture.
Are you using the full 2 pumps now? How much BP are you using?
If you increased the BP too quickly before your skin adjusted to the previous dose, then this can cause excessive redness. But unfortunately, the redness and dryness is very common in the early weeks...especially as you ramp up the BP...these symptoms can get worse temporarily until your skin fully adjusts. But for the majority of users, these symptoms subside once their skin is used to the full dose of BP. With continued use, your skin should get used to the products and the treatment will start to feel comfortable.
If things are really bad then you could try reducing the amount of BP temporarily...or stopping for a few days to give your skin a break...but doing so could affect your results. Most people need to use the full 2 pumps of BP to achieve clear skin. After getting clear, many can get away with using less BP in order to maintain their results.
Hope this is helpful!
Thank you for replying.
I've been using moisturiser as well, 2 full pumps.
For BP, I have been increasing gradually (I use the tube, and the amount is equal to 1 finger long now, after 2 months).
I have experienced dryness as first, but got used to it and I didn't have dryness or flaky skin for several weeks.
However, last week, my cheeks and temples area got excessively red and dry.
The skin there even got thicker and rougher.
It's very painful when I apply BP and moisturiser and even after that.
Some nights I couldn't even sleep due to the pain and itchiness.
Looking closely to my skin, I have no active acne now, just scars.
But the excessive dryness and red are freaking me out.
My cheeks and temples look like they were rubbed with sandpaper
I only wear sunscreen when I go out now and even wear 2 masks to shield my face from the sun.
I will add jojoba oil to the moisturiser today and see if it helps but please advice, should I keep applying BP or should I stop for several days?
Btw, my skin is getting more oily. Is it normal?
Thank you.

Hmm...yes, I'd try adding 5-6 drops of jojoba oil to your moisturizer, and moisturize 3 or more times per day if you need to...this is OK. Jojoba oil can be your best friend when your skin is going through a dry spell. When skin gets excessively dry and out of balance, it can stimulate oil glands to produce more than the body needs in order to restore balance. Jojoba oil, because it most closely resembles human sebum, can help calm down oil production. When skin is back in balance, the oil glands will stop overproducing.
Spending a lot of time outdoors can also dry skin out. My son usually has nice soft skin but lately his skin also has been drier than normal, which coincided with the hiking trips we took recently, so we've also ramped up his moisturizer.
Since you've been on the Regimen for more than one month and are clear, you could try building in AHA+ (10% glycolic acid). This can help fade red marks faster, and also will help slough off the dry skin...it's also very hydrating. It's not uncommon for skin to go through dry spells...your skin may be just getting ready to shed the next layer, and AHA+ can help speed this up as well.

My face is worse than it was before I tried the regimen.
I found 2 whiteheads on my temple this morning and dab some BP on them as spot treatment. big mistake!! Now they have become openwound and I can't cover that part because there is no mask designed for that part of face. What to do when I have a wedding to attend in 2 days? Wanna kill myself so bad just by looking at my own face...
