Sweating off the BP??

So I've been wondering about this, especially for Summertime and mid-day workouts and other scenarios. I searched on the forums and faqs and it says that pores and follicles are separate, so not to worry about sweating away the treatment. But what does that mean practically? Will the treatment remain if I just pat my face dry but come off if I wash up?

OK to pat dry the sweat in the summer or while working out, this won't affect the treatment very much if at all but swimming and showering after a workout obviously will so a little advanced planning is needed to work around this so that your skin is getting several hours of exposure to the treatment each day. Just don't rub your face when towel-drying as this can introduce some irritation. Bear in mind too that BP kills most of the bacteria on contact, but with continued prolonged exposure, it continues to kill new bacteria for several hours until it's time to reapply. That's why ideally reapplying every 10-12 hours works well and skipping treatments can lead to breakouts, when bacteria have windows of time to repopulate. Summertime and swimming can make things a little tricky but not at all impossible, so you can still treat your skin successfully.

Hope this is helpful! :)
