Hi everyone,

I've experienced with mild/moderate acne most of my adult life and after failing multiple times in clearing my skin, I came across this product and decided to give it a try. What do I have to lose?

I am sure someone has brought this up in the past, but as a newbie, I decided to open a forum and post my questions on this product.
So I am in my 3rd month....in the first few weeks of starting the acne.org regimen, I immediately began seeing some results and it encouraged me to continue. During the first month, I ended up experiencing a really bad breakout with cystic acne and it almost discouraged me to continue with the product however, I kept on with the acne battle. Skin is clearer now though I am still experiencing break outs especially around my cheeks (where I always experienced acne). So I am not perfectly clear yet.

I read that the acne.org regimen is a slow healer and to give it time...I can be patient. I am seeing results which is why I am continuing with the regimen though they are very slow results.

Here are my questions....
At the 3rd month, I am still experiencing severe dryness, I've been using AHA+ now for 2 weeks every night and I mix it with Dan's moisturizer...I like how the mixture leaves my skin smooth but in a few hours, my skin is back at being flaky and dry, it's embarrassing and very uncomfortable. Bottom line, it's still very dry, I miss the days when my skin was my normal. How much longer until I begin to see some positive changes and for my skin's dryness to finally go away?
I am afraid I am destroying my skin.

The second question I had was about the Benzoyl Peroxide...I am very gentle when I put it on my face, and definitely avoid my eye area however the fumes on the product are so strong they irritate my eyes. By the time, I am done gently rubbing it on my face, my eyes are red and tearing. I tried walking around to let the air drag away the fumes, even placing Vaseline around my eyes to block and protect the eye area but nothing seems to work. I am afraid that this might hurt my eyes down the road. Please help!

Any advice is truly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing dryness and irritation on your skin. Try using slightly less of the Acne.org Treatment and see if that will keep you clear and if that will reduce the irritation around your eyes. Use 2 full pumps of the Acne.org Moisturizer as often as needed. That should take care of the dryness on your skin.

You may also add in 5-6 drops of the Acne.org Jojoba Oil to the Moisturizer for added moisture.

so i realized that my eyes were more sensitive to the fumes of the benzoyl peroxide at night when they were tired from staring at a computer all day long. In the morning, I am fine though I am always careful about not putting any around the sensitive skin area.

Now in my fifth month, my skin is also more cooperative...it doesn't look so dry and the moisturizer definitely helps along with the aha+ at night.
After I wash my face though, i can feel my skin still a bit dry other wise it's fine.

I guess i just need to be patient and allow my skin to adjust with time and not try to rush things.
thanks!
