Is it ok to use BP (5%) for a long time (years)? Does BP harm my skin in a long run? Since it's very drying and strong product. Does my skin get signs of aging faster?

It has helped clear my face and keeps my skin looking good but I'm wondering does it harm my skin too?

as long as you are not drying out your skin too much and putting products to lock in the moisture it should be fine.
The issue i had was that BP stopped working in the long run, it gets use your skin and acne comes back worse

I don't think BP alone ages your skin. I've used it for probably 90% of the last 15 years and I'm constantly told I look about 6 - 7 years younger than I am.

BP is fine for long-time use. Glad it's working for you! The only potential harmful thing is if you spend a lot of time in the sun and aren't using sunscreen on your face. BP increases sun sensitivity and makes you more prone to sunburn. Just make sure you're using a moisturizer with SPF when you spend a few hours in the sun and you'll be just fine! :)

How long did it take until BP stopped working for you? The person below you says hes been using for 15 years... Everyone is different i guess, but since ive been using for about a year now, i hope it still works for many more years to come.

P.acnes can develop a resistance to antibiotics and antibiotic ointments if used long-term, but not to BP. BP is not an antibiotic. It works differently and when used correctly and consistently should produce consistent results even if used for many years. So you should be fine. In cases where a person breaks out, it's often due to sudden hormonal spikes, meds changes, etc. My son is on a medication (which he needs) but the side effect is acne. The Regimen isn't working as readily for him as it did for me but it is helping.

My experience with BP has been pretty good. I have been using BP for the past 3 years now and even though I am about to turn 28, people all the time still mistake me for someone in high school. Just make sure when using BP you are pairing it with a good moisturizer that balances everything out.
