Hello friends,
I have been using the regimen for about a year and a half and my skin is doing pretty well. I get little zits sometimes and my face is red, but I'm not getting any cysts or major breakouts. I would like to have an all-natural skin care regime and have been slowly been weaning off. I am wondering what others' experiences with this are, if any? By now I am down to this:
Morning: Nothing, only a cold splash of water
Evening: Tone with apple cider vinegar and a cotton ball (gets all of the dirt off); cleanse with one pump of Dan's cleanser, half a finger length of Dan's BP. (Sometimes I'll moisturize with AHA, but it makes my face super red and seems to cause me to break out more)
I stopped using the moisturizer some time ago since it makes my skin greasy, flaky, and causes breakouts. (Weird how these products work differently on everyone, right?) Since then I've just been cleansing + BP once per day.
I'm trying to wean off of BP entirely and only wash my face in the evenings, maybe with a little bit of apple cider vinegar. I'm still not totally happy with my skin because the BP makes it red, dry, and I'm already getting wrinkles at a young age! I'd like to work towards an all-natural regime.
Interested to hear any of your thoughts!
Hey, thanks for the advice! I was afraid you might say that. :/ So how do I go about switching out the BP for the AHA? I'm guessing you mean that I use the AHA instead of the BP, but I just want to make sure... I have used BP + AHA at night, but this causes me to break out more and makes my skin more red. Maybe it would work if I only used the AHA?
