Why my face is still red? I followed the regimen precisely from the gentleness and specially the amount of bp. I started using pea sized in my 1st week and 2nd week, every single week I increase slowly the amount. When I'm in 1st month I tried to increase my dosage into half of my finger but my face can handle that amount so that I decrease again I only use pea sized but my face still red. What should I do? please help

Earlier I forgot my tissue and I'm at school that day and it's so hot and my face is horrible there's no air-cooler, my face was wet with sweat. After my class I run home and get my tissue to dab my face I feel that the bp is gone because of the sweat. Instead of I washed my face, I put moisturizer and jojoba oil to my face. My face is always sweaty there is possible that the bp will gone?

What type of redness do you have? I get redness on my chin, moustache area and around my nose when I apply BP but the redness goes down after some minutes. Is your face sunburnt red or just mild redness or does your face look normal after you've washed all product off and after waiting for it to dry? If you could upload a picture that'd be great :)

If your face stings when you put moisturiser on it could be the moisturiser. When I was starting out on the regimen I tried the Cetaphil lotion and it stung my face so I didn't use it, I stuck to the acne.org moisturiser because it didn't sting so I would suggest you try a different moisturiser if it stings because at this point nothing should be stinging for you. Try another moisturiser for now and also you didn't answer my question about whether or not your face is red when it's all cleaned and free of any product and you didn't tell me if the redness was like a sunburnt red.

It say's in your signature that you apply AHA every night. I'm confused now because you're using Cerave, acne.org moisturiser and some Cetaphil moisturiser? I don't understand that so can you please let me know what's the go with that?

yes I just updated my signature last week. Last week I'm using cerave in morning but after that i feel like my face is still red, yesterday I replaced my cerave and go back to cetaphil to try both again. about the aha+ I only put once only after a month

Can anyone suggest how to get rid of this redness? if there's a cream that can help the redness of my face please inform me asap :(

Anyone? or should I stop the regimen for a few days and start again with super small amount of bp?

Okay I'll try and be of help to you one last time. :wall: You're using too many moisturiser products, johnson moisturiser, cerave and cetaphil? That's overkill and there's no reason why you need to put 3 different moisturisers on and all of those ingredients may not agree with your skin. Redness isn't going to go away overnight, give it some time and don't use any extra products.

Okay might be a good idea to remove that from your regimen and stick to the acne.org moisturiser or a moisturiser that works well for your skin and give it some time.

Try eliminating AHA all together for a bit and see how your skin reacts. At times AHA can make your skin very irritated, especially during the early stages of the regimen. Stick to the first 3 steps religiously and see how your skin reacts. Personally, I still experience redness and I've been doing the regimen for over 3 years.
