You might try increasing the amount of bp you are using and add in the AHA lotion if you aren't using it already. Steroids can really wreak havoc on the skin, but if you have to have them, then you gotta do what you gotta do. If you are unable to keep your acne under control, you may want to see your doctor or dermatologist to see if a prescription acne medication might work better for you.
