So I bought the regimen a few days ago after I had just pealed off the scabs on my popped pimples off the top of my forehead. I still do get pimples randomly, or at least I did a lot before, but now I swim everyday (which is pretty much drying out any possible acne) and I'm letting time heal the scabs,
so would the regimen still help my damaged skin/scars or is it specifically for people with actual acne?
Btw, I'm a teen (and swim everyday), I currently have the drier side of skin however I put oil on my it when I got home from practice
PS. I still want to PREVENT acne from coming, but I don't want this regimen to dry out my skin and further irritate it since I will have bits of leftover chlorine on my face..
Sounds like you won't need to treat your skin very often if the chlorine from the swimming is taking care of the acne. But if your forehead or another area breaks out, it's OK to just treat the problem area and not your whole face. Use only a pea-size amount if you only need to treat a small area as needed. You may experience no drying or a lot of drying, just depends on your skin sensitivity.
The Acne.Org AHA+ is the only product available on this site that can help with red marks and hyperpigmentation from old acne. The BP treatment will not help fade red marks.
