So, I decided to get back on BP since it seemed the only one that worked for my case. I want this time to try the regiment as faithful as possible but the problem is in my country you can't find a pure BP cream or gel. So I have to go for a mixture (BP 5% + Erythromycin 3% - I have noticed this combination goes under the name Benzamycin). What do you think, guys? Would that be an issue?
With prescription medications you need to use what your doctor instructs you to use. You can't really use Benzamycin as generously as Dan suggests with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide for The Regimen. Main reason is the little container is small and you would never be able to get frequent refills from your pharmacy to use it generously. Also, it is a combination product of bp plus antibiotic, so you need to use it in the prescribed dosage.
I don't know what country you are from but surely there is some form of over the counter benzoyl peroxide?
