So i've considered starting the regimen but I find my main problem isn't so much acne bumps themselves, but pih I have from years of neglect; it was one of those thing I thought would just go away on it's own.
I'm considering the regiment because the area under my bottom lip and above my chin has become a huge problem area the past few months. Also, when I run my fingers over my face, it mostly feel smooth but there are some, what feels like, really small, round scabs on my cheeks. I do get bumps on my cheeks/lip area every now and then that, even if I do not touch them in any way, always leave terrible dark marks no matter what.
Now my main question is:
How do I work AHA into the routine? I heard it helps fade pih. I've done some research and it seems like this is the method:
AM - Cleanse, BP, Moisturize (I know I have to use sunscreen if I use AHA, but the regimen moisturizer doesn't mention any SPF. Should I use any OTC facial moisturizer instead of the regimen moisturizer?
PM - Cleanse, BP, AHA (Once a week, otherwise moisturize
I understand I have to slowly transition AHA into multiple uses per week. Once a week at first, then 2/week, then 3/week etc.
Is there a max I should be using AHA per week and quickly should I phase it in?
I have a second question too - How big is the regimen? I'm considering buying the largest sizes of the cleanser, BP, moisturizer and AHA just to save on shipping costs. I want to know physically how large these products are. Doesn't have to be too specific though.
Thank you
