Is It Normal?

Just started using 2.5% BP again, after quitting a year ago because I thought my skin had an allergic reaction because of the dryness, but after looking around, it seems to be normal.

But is it normal to get breakouts? I'm getting some breakouts I haven't gotten in a while (not that my skin was already in great condition).

I cleanse my face in the morning with Cetaphil, then put on some moisturizer. Then at night I cleanse my face again with Cetaphil and apply a thin layer of BP to my face and wait for 10-15 minutes then apply moisturizer.

Am I doing anything wrong?

I also splash some water in my face about half-way during the day.

The dermatologist gave me Tactuo Topical Gel. Adapalene 0.1% and Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5%

Been getting acne for 7 years now, started getting one or two pimples back in grade 5, then peaked massively in high school. Let's just say, I'm getting kind of tired of the same feeling every morning when I look at the mirror.

I'm avoiding junk food altogether, haven't had some in months.

Eating lots of veges, particularly carrots and broccoli.

Getting much more sleep than I use to.

I.Don't.Know.What.To.Do.

The Regimen works best when followed very strictly, exactly as Dan recommends. Unless you are on the first week of using it, you should be doing it twice daily, everyday. Between washing and applying the bp you are to let your skin dry, not apply moisturizer. The bp needs a clean dry face to absorb properly. I'm going to link you to The Regimen help page where you can take the trouble-shooting quiz and read through the biggest mistakes but my best advice would be to re-read through the instructions for The Regimen and rewatch the instructional video and do it correctly for best results.
